What’s new on Seat’s Geneva Motor Show stand?It’s all about the new Ibiza on the Mediterranean-themed Seat stand today. Forget the Bocanegra badge, this concept is a thinly veiled teaser for the new supermini due to hit showrooms at the end of the year.It looks pretty special, a tantalisingly taut three-door supermini with good proportions and a fresh take on the swooping wheelarch line that has come to epitomise modern Seats. We’re less keen on the blindspot-inducing quarterlights, though.
The MINI Crossover Concept. On target for a Geneva launch as the Countryman or Crossman
The MINI Crossover – dubbed Crossman or Countryman – has been floating around as a ‘Concept’ since the Paris Motor Show in 2008. We even reported on the MINI Crossman testing back in April, and it’s been expected to launch for quite some time, so to say it’s ‘On Schedlue’ is probably a little misleading.
Suzuki has launched a new higher-spec Jimny - The Suzuki Jimny SZ4
The Jimny is pretty much in a league of its own, but that’s probably because no one else wants to play, rather than the Jimny being exceptional in any way. It’s not exactly a comfortable car, although it seems to cope with big bumps reasonably well, it’s just everything else it has trouble with. But we can’t argue that it’s not well put together, because it is.
